Manic Street Preachers are one of the most significant, controversial, and intellectual rock bands in the UK, with a career spanning over three decades. Their story is one of rebellion, tragedy, survival, and incredible creative evolution. Formed in 1986 in Blackwood, South Wales, Manic Street Preachers established themselves as ardent anti-conformists. Their aesthetic combined glam rock (dresses, makeup, and military fatigues) with punk rock aggression and left-wing political views. Nirvana is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Aberdeen, Washington, that has become a symbol of a generation and a key phenomenon in global music culture.
