A-HA is an iconic Norwegian synth-pop band that became one of the defining symbols of the 1980s music era. Formed in 1982 in Oslo, the band is known for its catchy sound and innovative music videos. The name "A-HA" was chosen because it is easily recognizable and understandable in any language. The band consists of vocalist Morten Harket (with a five-octave vocal range), keyboardist and songwriter Magne Furuholmen, and guitarist and songwriter Pål Waaktaar-Savoy. Listening to A-HA, you realize that pop music can also be art. Behind their easy-to-follow hits lies deep drama and incredible vulnerability. A timeless classic that will always be in style.
